Meet Taylor

She/Her

Have you been told you’re “too sensitive” because you think and feel deeply? Do you find yourself easily overwhelmed by things others seem to handle with ease, or do you need more time to process and make decisions? If these questions resonate, you may be navigating life as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). This is not a diagnosis, but rather an innate temperament found in about 20–30% of the population. Dr. Elaine Aron uses the acronym DOES to summarize the trait: Depth of Processing, Overstimulation, Emotional Responsiveness/Empathy, and Sensitivity to Subtleties/Sensory Stimuli. A free self-test to learn if you might be highly sensitive can be found here!

Being highly sensitive can have its challenges, but when paired with experiences such as neglect, abuse, or repeated invalidation, it can bring added layers of pain. You may have learned to question yourself, hide parts of who you are, dismiss your needs, or put others first to feel safe and accepted. But you were never meant to live life in hiding.

As a therapist for highly sensitive people, I provide a space where you don’t have to explain, minimize, or apologize for who you are. I’m here to help you come home to yourself and create a life that supports your needs and honors your strengths. If you're ready for healing and creating a life that feels like your own, I look forward to hearing from you!
